This past winter we have been braving the cold to complete some projects. We have been working with Perrot State Park in Trempealeau to help them remove some hazardous Ash trees and Oak trees. Emerald Ash Borer has been confirmed in the park, and is quite evident in many trees. Most of these trees overhang popular camp sites, and needed to be addressed.
We also removed a very large Silver Maple right after Christmas that had lost a large lead this past summer in a wind storm. The tree had been compromised, and had to come down, due to it’s location next to a house, garage, etc.
Most recently we traveled to Sparta to mow a retention pond area for a client. We were there in 2012, and the growth had gotten large enough again that it needed to be mowed again. This was done using our track skid steer with a Fecon Brush Mower as the attachment.
